Please read the list below and we hope they cover what you need!! If not, please reach us at support@bravera.co if you cannot find an answer to your questions!
Depending on the smartphone you're using, we offer choices to connect with Apple Health and Strava on iPhone iOS, or Google Fit, Strava, plus a Bravera pedometer on Android to calculate your walk and run distance.
At a click of a button your progress is calculated and points awarded! Convenient and straight forward.
Each kilometre is 10 points, or, 16 points per mile.
We turn distance into points. Relying solely on steps is both not accurate and fair. After a long time researching and testing we noticed that steps were just not that accurate.
Think about it, someone runs 5km but has a long stride versus someone that that has shorter steps and walks around the block a few times … they may end up with a similar ‘steps’ count, even though the walker has covered less distance with (maybe) less effort.
We want to encourage people to move more but also go further and go the distance.
Yes. Bravera allows you to ‘earn’ up to 3 reward offers at a time. While you’re ‘earning’ the rewards, any points you earn through activity will ALSO be converted into points - win win.
There are two ways to claim rewards, depending on how our rewards partners want to delivery their goods and services.
Offline (in-store). You can either ‘buy’ rewards with points (if you have enough points) or take a challenge to unlock your rewards. For on-location rewards (e.g. F&B location and retail outlets), where you physically redeem / pick up your reward, you’ll receive a QR code.
Live rewards plus suggested sustainable businesses can be found on the ‘near me’ map view within the app. Online (delivered to your door).
You can convert your healthy activity and support business offering sustainable products and / or services directly to you.
No. Bravera is free to download and use. We also do not hide any areas to unlock with 'In-App Purchases'.
Bravera is open to anyone over 13 years of age and interested in moving to stay fit and healthy plus making an impact on the world.
Strava connects with most GPS activity enabled wearables (just remember to 'record' activities).
Both Google Fit and also Apple Health also connect to many different fitness apps and wearables. So you can simply search if your preferred app or wearable is compatible.
You can upload images of your activities and share them within public (or private) groups to create engagement and a sense of community, plus get replies and reactions.
However, at this time, Bravera only allows points to be earned through tracking of walk and run distance. Watch this space for updates on manual entries for points.
Yes! AND you get extra points for inviting friends! Also, once friend requests inside the app are accepted, you can start direct chat, see each others' stat comparison, and also they'll be added into a 'Friends' leaderboard.
